Background
I think this is the third time that Makenzi and Andrew have been in front of my camera (together, Andrew got headshots by me one time) and I love it!! I was able to capture their proposal and I loved being able to capture their engagement pictures as well! They have the best energy and always laugh their way through a session (even if it’s super hot and humid outside). We started the night out at Clementine’s Creamery, a special date night spot for Makenzi and Andrew. It’s also a favorite ice cream location of mine! They cuddled up around two cones which made for the most adorable pictures!
Bells Concert
We then moved on to the seminary across the street and were surprised to find a bells concert happening. I was of course being my loud and energetic self even while we were wondering why all these people were sitting on the seminary grounds in lawn chairs. Once we did a little googling and realized that there was a concert happening, I may have felt just a little bad for disturbing the peace! We had to work around the hundreds of people sitting on the grounds, but I can happily say we made it happen and I love the final result!

They then had an outfit change and it was finally time to bring their dog, Ollie into the pictures! At this point, the poor guy was so warm because he had been walking around with one of Makenzi and Andrew’s friends. But he was a trooper and smiled for all the pictures we needed him in! Makenzi got him the cutest bandana that you definitely need to see. Then, we ended the night chasing the sunset for those beautiful glowy pictures and got one last picture under the string lights at Clementine’s Creamery. I can’t wait for their wedding day for next October! I know they are going to be surrounded by love and have a beautiful day!
