Forest Park Nature Playscape Family Photos

There’s something so special about photographing a family when everyone is genuinely having fun together, and these Forest Park Nature Playscape family photos were exactly that!

One of my favorite parts of the session was watching the older kids connect with the younger ones. There were so many sweet moments of playing, exploring, and interacting that felt completely natural. The relationships between the kids really came through in the images, and I loved being able to capture those connections as they happened. Before the session, I was told that the older kids are the younger kids heroes and you really could see that!

We spent our time exploring the Nature Playscape and making use of all the natural elements around us. From climbing on logs and playing to discovering little spots throughout the playscape, there were so many opportunities to create images that felt varied and full of personality. We even had a dance party dancing to their favorite song, Fireball by Pitbull (linked for your listening pleasure)! And yes, if you have a session with me, I will ask about your family’s favorite song so you too can have a fun dance party!

And yes, it was hot! But you would never know it from the smiles. Everyone showed up ready to have fun, and that joyful energy carried throughout the entire session. The family even texted me afterward and let me know that their youngest boy shared how much fun he had. That might just be one of my favorite compliments ever!
