Day care owner branding session

This past weekend I got to do the most fun thing- a day care owner branding session! I have been working behind the scenes these past couple of months to launch the branding branch of my photography business and it finally came to fruition with this first session! Let me tell you- it was a good one! I walk all my branding session clients through a thorough planning process prior to their session so we can really figure out all the pieces that make up their business. As an example, I’m a photographer, but there’s more to me than that. I’m an inclusive photographer who values social justice and that is a big value in my business! I would want to make sure that was represented in my branding images!

Kenya owns Perfect Peace Family care, a day care in the St Louis area. For Kenya, we quickly realized that as a business owner she wears many hats! Not only does she watch children, she prepares their lunches, takes time plan activities and is a community oriented individual. We wanted to make sure we captured all of that in her session!

One thing I especially like that we did was pay homage to her familial history, which was a big inspiration for her when starting her business. At the end of the post, you’ll see her holding a badge- that was her grandfather’s private security business which is where she got the name “Perfect Peace” from. How cool is that?? Kenya worked with a stylist to put together her amazing outfits and I think it really goes to show the value of a good stylist who can capture your personality through clothes! Anyway I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed taking them!
