Brittani and Melissa’s gorgeous wedding day at The Barn at Lone Eagle landing in Ste. Genevieve, MO is on the blog today and let me tell you, it’s a good one! To start, we had a beautiful Spring day- sunny and 65 degrees! Then, the venue, The Barn at Lone Eagle Landing was really showing off. I learned from the venue coordinator that it is an actual working farm, which I think is so cool. That meant there were a lot of gorgeous, open spaces that we could explore which also made for a beautiful sunset! Wait until you see the pictures! Melissa and Brittani picked out navy and burgundy for their colors which made for a beautiful and elegant day.
We started the day off with details and getting ready shots of the two of them. I loved to see how their friends were just there to support them and help them feel relaxed! They laughed and had fun while they were getting ready until it was time for the first look. The first look was beautiful and so full of emotion! They both cried seeing each other and I was almost crying too! One of my favorite parts of the wedding day came later, during the ceremony. Instead of having a flower girl, Brittani and Melissa opted to have a flower man to shoot petals out of a flower popper! The flower man really took to his role and totally went for it, walking in to Let’s go girls by Shania Twain. It was a hoot!
My second favorite part of the day was during the father daughter dance. Brittani’s father passed away a few years ago and Melissa surprised her by getting a close friend of Brittani’s to dance with her and then Melissa’s own dad danced with her! I was DEFINITELY crying at that point! Anyway, I hope you enjoy these images, and shout out to the following amazing vendors!
