Amanda and Bart had the sweetest wedding at The Cheshire and the Catholic Student Center on Washington University in St. Louis’ campus! They were surrounded by family and friends and I’m so excited to tell you more about it.
GETTING READY
Both Amanda and Bart got ready at the Catholic Student Center on Washington University in St. Louis’ campus. It’s a beautiful space full of cool architecture and art! These two are some of the most chill people you will ever meet! When I arrived they both seemed cool as clams- just ready for their day to happen! They knew it was a long time coming and they were ready.
FIRST LOOK AND CEREMONY
The first look was a beautiful moment between Amanda and Bart and you can just tell how excited they are to see each other in the images! Following their first look, we snagged some pictures of the two of them. Next door to the catholic student center was a beautiful yellow building that looked like it belongs in Tucson, not St. Louis. When I realized their wedding colors were yellow and green, I knew we had to snag some pictures there and I am so pleased with how they turned out!
We then went on to the ceremony, which was a beautiful affair. The CSC has one of the coolest murals I’ve ever seen in a church and I was there for all the colors! They focused on their mutual love for public service and their love for building community with others. It was an all around beautiful ceremony.
RECEPTION AT THE CHESHIRE
Lastly, they had their beautiful reception at The Cheshire in St. Louis- a romantic and classic venue! They had great first dances with each other and with their parents, but I think my favorite part of their reception was their ice cream cart by slinging scoops! Cake is great, but ice cream?! The best!
From the CSC to The Cheshire, they had a beautiful day and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it!
