Piper Palm House

Hi, I’m Sara, and sometimes I start things and then don’t always do the best job at keeping up with them! Anyone else relate to that?! Anyway, if you’ve followed along on my journey for any amount of time you might remember that last year I started a series that featured local venues so you could see how they look when photographed by a pro. I did a grand total of one post, lol. Click over to see the post if you’d like! But I am now committed to doing this at least once a month and today we are starting with a dream venue of mine, the piper palm house! This gorgeous brick building is located in Tower Grove Park and is so beautiful! Matt and I got married in South Carolina but I told him if we had gotten married in St. Louis the piper palm house would’ve been my dream venue.

The piper palm house has beautiful large windows that let in so much light and is totally white on the inside. If you are looking for a light and airy look this might just be the place for you! It has a variety of greenery throughout and I believe it used to be a greenhouse!

I’m planning on asking a few questions of the venue owners or points of contact for this series moving forward to give it a more personalized touch and you can see the questions and my point of contact’s responses below! I hope this helps in your journey to finding a venue!

1. What is your favorite aspect of your venue?

My favorite aspect of the Piper Palm House is the windows! They let in so much light, and the touches of stained glass are gorgeous. There are also some hidden sailboats etched in a few glass panes in the ceiling.

2. How would you describe the venue to others? (a bright and airy space, boho etc)

An elegant, bright, and airy space.

3. What is your favorite part about hosting weddings?

My favorite part about hosting weddings is sharing in the joy of each of our couples on a very important day in their lives.
