Verde on Cherokee

Today is the third installment in my venue series and we’re focusing on Verde on Cherokee! To see the last one focusing on Olive and Oak click here. Verde on Cherokee is beautiful smaller venue in St. Louis City! This space is perfect for anyone who loves natural light and bright colors. It would also be perfect for branding session if fun bright colors are your vibe! They have a beautiful patio outside of the greenhouse and a well decorated interior that would be perfect for guests to mingle during cocktail hour.

Here are their answers to my questions about their venue!

What is your favorite aspect of your venue?

The greenhouse, of course! All the live greenery, natural light, and vintage vibes from the old architectural details. It’s a huge bonus for renters, whether for parties, weddings, or photographers taking some headshots – extra decoration is completely optional, as the space is so gorgeous on its own!

How would you describe the venue to others?

An indoor/outdoor urban venue hidden gem – a jewel box & patio that lights up beautifully at night attached to a stylishly-designed interiors showroom/studio – pretty furniture, local artwork, vintage finds…so many unique aesthetic details. It’s the perfect, unforgettable venue for smaller/intimate gatherings & parties!

What is your favorite part about hosting weddings?

Well, our favorite part is when a couple entrusts our designer taste and vision to take the aesthetics to the next level with our design skills – gorgeous florals, vintage dinnerware, the perfect combination of linens and those extra design touches that make tablescapes WOW. It’s our jam to create a beautiful backdrop for the perfect ceremony/party!Our renters love that they have full freedom to bring in whatever food and drink they like (yes, booze as well!). We’ve seen the whole spectrum from chefs doing plated salmon dinners to pizza/burger delivery, and food/bar/dessert trucks parked on our back patio. We love that each wedding ends up being unique in its own way – casual cocktail hour, minimal elopement, doggies in the bridal party, a string quartet or fun DJ, ice cream cart & taco truck…we welcome their style.
